After a zesty breath of mint, its wake raises the addiction by a degree, becoming a torrid elixir. Under its fresh notes, the dashing lavender quickly takes on a carnal breadth, enhanced by the fragrant richness of benzoin with syrupy and vanilla notes. The tonka bean enriches with its hot, mellow inflections, between honey and tobacco. That’s it: you’ve been sucked in headlong!

The sample itself was perfect but the scent wasn’t the best (nothing Nichescents could change)

Le Male Elixir is a popular fragrance for a reason. Its a sweeter, fresher winter cologne, one that maintains notes of amber and honey. good silage and an amazing hold.
Its softer than a lot of other men's winter fragrances, likely due to the sweet aspects in benzoin and tonka. Its sweet, not aggressively, but the sweetness stands out amongst the tobacco and lavender.
I'd say its a 4.5 star fragrance, as although there is lots of good to say, it lacks depth and complexity, with a lot of the top and middle notes blending. I would recommend Le Male Elixir, as it suits a wide range of styles and skins.
