This has become my fav new scent. As someone who enjoys girly scents but which has to be mature and not childish this one raised the bar for that and added a freshness to it that isnβt normally there in sweet smelling parfumes. And I love the bottle it came in with the labelling. Will definitely try more samples in the future! Fast shipping too!

Cameron I bought a sample of this as I am trying to find a gothic scent for myself, but was left a little disappointed. Amber doesn't work well on my skin but niche houses (particularly Amouage) can pull it off, however, this was just overwhelming along with incense. This fragrance is really for someone who loves both of those notes.
The metallic undertones faded quickly and I couldn't pick up the sweeter accords such as vanilla. I haven't tried Van Py Rhum but I'm guessing this is the edgier, less sweet brother. It is also more masculine due to the heavy amber notes. The projection is strong.

Amber Iβm currently on the hunt for a church/incense fragrance. This is incredibly smoky but fresh, dark but attractive, and so seductive. Every time I wear this, I feel like Iβm being lured into an ancient castle by a vampire to become a bloody sacrifice. Itβs haunting, the metallic note isnβt very pungent but god that incense is so beautiful.
Itβs dark, hypnotic, yet hauntingly beautiful. I would definitely buy a full bottle of this, though Iβd say itβs more of a vampiric scent than Van Py Rhum given the metallic and mineral notes.
