The opening is deceptively sharp and fresh, a one-two punch of leathery saffron and crisp apple, bathed in a haze of that smoky, medicinal Mancera oud. The scent melts into a thick, juicy amber that smells like a river of molten honeycomb coursing around pipe tobacco, dried plums, and fruitcake. Red Tobacco is so confidently spiced with nutmeg and cinnamon, it practically sizzles. The scent is toned down by the slightly dirty, smoky oud note and a patchouli note that smells like damp dark chocolate.

You will either like it or not, and at the price point it is, an extra 16 dollars is worth the guarantee. I personally love it, its a dark, sexy fragrance that leaves people (in a 15 foot radius no less) aware of your presence. It holds away from being sweet, in fact its not sweet at all. Hiding a wide breadth of complexity, herbal notes peak around the corners of the strong earthy base, so long as your around the scent long enough.

It's definitely a great scent, sweet, creamy floral can be worn anywhere due to its high versatility. But just like every other niche fragrance, the dupes will come along and offer the same scent profile for lot lot less which make me sad sometimes.
