The Roman wind god Favonius — equated with the Greek Zephyrus — was so deeply enamored with Flora, Goddess of Flowers, that he transformed himself into a rose to win her affection, as flowers were her only passion. When Flora kissed the rose, she fulfilled Favonius’ wish, and legend says that even the very word rose was born from this tale: when struck by Cupid’s arrow, Flora mispronounced “Eros” as “ros.” Thus, the rose became forever intertwined with Eros, symbolizing love, youth, beauty, vitality, and the fruitfulness of nature in both Roman and Greek tradition.
Favonius, whose name means favorable, was known as the gentlest of the winds — the fructifying breath of spring, guardian of flowers, and herald of renewal. The Roman poet Horace immortalized him as the messenger who restores lovers at the turning of the season: “Why do you weep, Asterie, for the man whom the bright west winds will restore to you at the beginning of spring?”

Very interesting and challenging fragrance I would say. Yes there is coconut and rum in it but the tobacco smell is very sharp. I have smell tobacco fragrance before but this is different. It's more tobacco smoke than leaves that may put off some people. Def. try before buying a full bottle.
This is a beautiful adult gourmand. Frothy pistachio milk, incredibly creamy. Other reviewers get almond notes but all I get is pistachio latte - very true to the name. Not very long lasting or projecting, but for a photorealistic high quality scents, reapplication doesn’t bother me.
Divine scent that stayed with me all day
I had so many compliments
Divine scent that stayed with me all day
I had so many compliments. I normally use Extreme Noir, Tom Ford, yet no one compliments me. This however lingered like a fine wine
