This experience inspired us to immortalize the perfume oil in a refined version as a perfume - and to crown it with a sweet note as a symbol of completion, the "Cherry on Top."
The intense sweetness of dark cherry reflects the joy and excitement of the moment, while the warm, spicy aroma of Turkish black tea and zesty sour cherry syrup captures the sense of community and connection of that special time. Love the inspiration for this fragrance..it certainly raised my expectations and I was not disapppointed. I am not a cherry fan (at all) but the black cherry note intrigued me. The initial blast is very cherry...medicinal cherry.. but that passes in a split second and the fragrance develops into a beautiful, elegant, slightly sweet composition of loveliness. This is exceptional..all class. I will be buying a full bottle and Im eager to try others from this house now. Longevity is only ok. Unisex in my view.

An excellent fragrance as is usual for Zoologist, one of their more approachable offerings. There’s something wonderfully comforting about its hay and grain, softened with vanilla and warm woods — like settling into clean straw somewhere snug and sheltered. But for me, lovely is where it stops. I kept waiting for some strangeness, shadow or tension to emerge and give me something to really latch onto. Instead it remains soft, cuddly and easygoing. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it; in fact, I thoroughly enjoyed wearing it. It just doesn’t provoke that emotional pull that makes me want a bottle.
A beautiful little creature, and I’m very happy to have met it. I don’t need to take it home.
